Royal Lodge Exit Leaves Ex-Prince Andrew Moving to Rundown Farm — Source

Ex-Prince Andrew is reportedly preparing for a significant change in living arrangements. Multiple reports suggest he may relocate from his longtime residence at Royal Lodge to a modest and aging farm property on the Sandringham Estate. According to sources, the move is part of an ongoing reshuffle within the royal household.

Ex-Prince Andrew’s new home is rundown farm needing ‘awful lot of work,’ says source

According to insiders speaking to The Sun, Andrew is expected to be placed at Marsh Farm. The vacant, former working farm is situated seven miles west of King Charles III’s Sandringham House. While surrounded by scenic countryside and in view of Dersingham Bog, the property is described as far from move-in-ready. A source claimed the farm “needs an awful lot of work” before it could reasonably be occupied.

Marsh Farm itself includes a main house with two reception rooms, a kitchen, and several outbuildings, all reportedly in need of extensive refurbishment. The surrounding area has recently been included in an expanded no-fly zone. Some observers believe the move may be related to privacy and security considerations tied to Andrew’s potential residence there. The estate also sits near small local businesses, including an ironworks and a quad bike company.

The expected move follows years of scrutiny over royal property arrangements and alleged preferential rental agreements. Andrew, who no longer holds his titles of Duke or Prince, has faced increasing pressure to vacate Royal Lodge, despite a lease described as long-term. Reports suggest he had until the end of October to move out fully. However, logistical complications — and, now, the condition of Marsh Farm — may extend that timeline.

Some of Andrew’s belongings have already been moved to storage, according to The Sun. Meanwhile, his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, is reportedly seeking separate accommodation. For now, palace insiders maintain that no firm date has been set for Andrew’s relocation — and with Marsh Farm still in disrepair, the wait may continue.
