The talk around Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry has been swirling recently. The singer and the politician have been spotted several times in Montreal spending time together. They were even reportedly seen on a yacht in Santa Barbara, California, sparking dating rumors.
And while neither of them has confirmed nor denied the rumors, the fact that romance could be brewing between the two is a possibility.
And what intensified the rumors was the fact that Trudeau re-shared a picture on X (formerly Twitter) featuring himself with the singer, Fumio Kishida, and Kishida’s wife.
In the post’s caption, he wrote, “Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko.” He further thanked the former Japanese leader for his “friendship” and “commitment to both the international rules-based order and to a better future for everyone.”
For the meeting with the former Japanese PM, the “Roar” singer wore a green two-piece. She styled it with a turtleneck top, black tights, and stylish boots. Trudeau, on the other hand, opted for a grey suit paired with a light blue shirt. They posed alongside Fumio and his wife, Yuko.
The picture sent the Internet into a frenzy and further solidified the dating rumors. Now, fans are curious to know whether they are actually dating. And if they are, fans are eager to know how and when they might choose to go public.
