Danielle Fishel to start her own podcast after DWTS Season 34 loss
Danielle Fishel, after her run on DWTS, has announced a brand new podcast. It is called Teen Beat and is a spin on celebrity interviews. Instead of focusing on careers and current projects, Fishel wants to hear the “untelevised stuff” (via Variety).
In the announcement, she joked about her new level of hustle. “Like only I have said, loudly in the hallways of their office: I am the new Ryan Seacrest.” The show’s Instagram page also teased, “Danielle Fishel gave you her childhood – now it’s time we hear yours… Listen to Teen Beat starting January 7th!”
Fans reacted quickly on social media, with comments celebrating Fishel’s energy and creative output. One user mentioned, “She can’t be stopped! When do you sleep? Is that the secret to not aging ??? ?”
That response follows her recent companion series, Danielle With the Stars. She is also working on the success of Pod Meets World, which is one of several podcasts she and husband Jensen Karp produce for iHeart.
Adding Teen Beat makes this her fifth iHeart series and cements Fishel’s place in the podcast space. She is also bringing in her husband and producing partner, Jensen Karp on the project once again.
Commenting on it, a fan wrote, “Homegirl really does like to keep busy,” while another said, “OMG and it’s dropping on my birthday???? Best gift ever.” A fan expressed, “Yes, the podcast queen!!! Congratulations!!!”
