KFC has just dropped its most epic anime collab, and fans are going absolutely wild over it. In a dream come true for anime enthusiasts, the popular fast-food chain has collaborated with Dragon Ball Z, thereby bringing fans a menu inspired by the iconic animated series. KFC Italy went full Saiyan with its limited-time menu. Having said that, the crowd-favorite is its flavor-packed Dragon Balls that glow orange like the real deal.
KFC unveils new Dragon Ball Z meal
Jumping again into the entertainment x fast food collab bandwagon, KFC has teamed up with Dragon Ball Z to bring food and anime lovers a Super Saiyan meal. The exciting collab includes fried chicken, teriyaki twists, and 7 cheese balls shaped like Dragon Balls (the wish-granting orbs).
The announcement aptly featured Claudio Moneta, Goku’s Italian voice. Moneta rocked a Kamehameha yell as the Dragon Ball Z exclusive meal menu blasted onto the screen. Going with the theme’s flow, KFC Italy posted: “Saiyans like our fried chicken too”. The announcement went viral immediately, with fans flooding the comments, expressing their eagerness to try out the Super Saiyan meal.
For those intrigued, the Dragon Ball x KFC menu includes:
Goku’s Teriyaki Katsu Sando: The flavorful stuffing includes sweet teriyaki chicken, iceberg lettuce, and pickled cabbage
Vegeta’s Spicy Teriyaki Katsu Sando: Spicy teriyaki chicken with wasabi mayo and pickled onions, the perfect choice for anyone wanting to elevate their order.
Dragon Cheese Balls: Crispy cheese balls shaped like the iconic wish-granting orbs are the real show-stoppers.
DBZ Buckets: Goku/Vegeta designed buckets coming with options of teriyaki strips and hot wings.
With the Dragon Ball Z partnership, KFC marks the end of a wild year of collabs and online experiments. From joining teams with Gundam Wing for a Mobile Suit bucket to launching a fried-chicken–flavored toothpaste and a wild gravy gelato, it’s been an exciting year to say the least. Additionally, KFC collaborated with London fashion house Aries for a high-end “Gravy Drip” streetwear line.
