This has drawn attention to the fitness star’s house. He lived at the residence for decades and passed away there in 2024.

According to the reports, the estate of Richard Simmons has “knocked a hefty $410k off the original asking price” for his mansion. The house first went public in June with a $7 million asking price. It is now listed at $5,889,999.
The estate spans roughly half an acre and includes just over 4,000 square feet of living space. It has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Some features that set it apart are a circular swimming pool and a separate pool house.
Architects arranged the primary suite across two levels, comprising four rooms. That includes a dressing room and an oversized bath. It also features an upper-level gym that he reportedly fitted with Keiser equipment. It was a private workout space that Richard Simmons regularly used at his house. The property also offers a guest suite and a cozy upstairs den.
The fitness star’s death in July 2024 drew attention to the home. This was because he had spent most of his later years there. His longtime housekeeper, Teresa Reveles, discovered his body. She said, “When I saw him, he looked peaceful … That’s why I know it was a heart attack. I had a heart attack a few years ago, and my hands did the same.” (via People)
