Ben Affleck, who recently divorced Jennifer Lopez, spent his Thanksgiving with his first ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and their children. A source close to Garner confirmed that Affleck, like last year, spent Thanksgiving in Los Angeles at Garner’s house. The two continue to maintain a cordial co-parenting relationship.
Ben Affleck spent Thanksgiving at his ex wife’s house
Ben Affleck reportedly was with Jennifer Garner, whom he married back in 2005 (and divorced in 2018), at her house for Thanksgiving. This is shortly after the Good Will Hunting star divorced Jennifer Lopez, whom he married in 2022.
A source close to Jennifer Garner talked about this to PEOPLE. “Just like last year, Jen hosted Thanksgiving at her house. Ben and his mom joined,” the source said, revealing that Affleck’s mother was also part of the celebrations at Garner’s house.
“Jen makes it very special. She’s such a great chef. She loves having her whole family together, too. Ben’s always welcome at her house,” the source explained. The source went on to reveal that the divorced couple gets along really well and continues to support each other.
“Ben’s doing well and staying focused on work, his health and his kids,” the source continued, “Jen’s his biggest cheerleader. It took them years to get to this point, but Jen never gave up on him. They added, “And it’s all friendly and centered around the kids now.”
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck share three kids between them, Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13.
After revealing that Affleck and Garner remain cordial now, the source also revealed that Garner was also happy with her boyfriend, John Miller. “He’s been incredibly patient and understanding of her family focus,” the source added about Miller, “He’s a great guy and treats Jen very well. She loves dating him.”
Both Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck remain active in the industry right now.
