Millie Bobby Brown talks about friendship amid David Harbour rumors
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Millie Bobby Brown discussed her unity with her Stranger Things costars and the importance of showing it. “We have always been united in that. We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything,” Brown said.
She also said it was “so nice” and “really exciting” to work with David Harbour on Stranger Things again. Brown described the experience as “nostalgic,” adding that it reminded her of their characters’ dynamic in the second and third seasons, where they clashed due to Eleven’s attempts to find her own identity and Hopper’s attempts to parent her.
“And that dynamic definitely comes back into play once again, and I’m really excited for people to see that,” she added. “And I think some of people’s favorite scenes of Eleven are Ele and [Hopper], so I’m really excited to have that come to screen once again.”
Brown’s comments about her friendship with Harbour come weeks after The Daily Mail reported, citing an unnamed source, that the latter “bullied and harassed” the former. The outlet further reported that the Thunderbolts* actor faced an internal inquiry after Brown allegedly complained about his behavior towards her.
A source alleged that Brown filed a harassment complaint against Harbour before Stranger Things Season 5’s production. The source further claimed that there were multiple pages detailing the accusations and that the investigation took place “for months.”
Despite the harassment claims, Brown and Harbour seemed friendly with each other during Stranger Things Season 5’s premiere, where they posed for photos together.
