MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has arguably been the most famous and most successful YouTuber in recent years, dethroning many giants like PewDiePie. With his offbeat approach, the creator has effectively executed some of the biggest videos ever seen on the platform. But he does not feel that he has done well enough in the past few months.
Mr. Beast issues an apology over YouTube videos
MrBeast has often seen backlash on some of his videos despite his charitable efforts in most of them. But recently, the creator decided to focus on a newer style of videos, moving away significantly from his tried-and-tested formula.
With MrBeast planning for a major overhaul in 2026, he recently apologized for his more recent videos, claiming that they weren’t up to the mark. In a new post from his X account, the YouTuber wrote, “After some reflection, I just want to say I think some of our newer YouTube videos haven’t been as good as I wanted.”
He went on to apologize to fans, saying, “I apologize. Ya boy is going to go into ultra grind mode and make the greatest content of my life in 2026. Promise.” Of course, the promise of better content than ever before excited fans to a great extent. But many came forward to support MrBeast, claiming his videos weren’t bad in the first place.
“That’s not the case. Don’t be so tough on yourself. Videos were great,” one fan wrote in the comment section, while another said, “Pushing yourself too hard might not be the way fam, you’re doing good. Just focus on helping others like you have been but also try to have fun and you’ll be dropping kino soon.”
This is not the first time that MrBeast spoke about taking things to a whole different level in 2026. It is not clear what he has in mind, but it seems evident that he is planning for something big.
