Kanye West has wiped his Instagram clean, sparking excitement over the potential release of his new album, Bully. He first announced the project in September 2024, later sharing tracklists earlier this year. However, the album has faced multiple delays due to controversies, gradually dampening fans’ hopes. But this possible promotional tease seems to have ignited hopes that the album might finally come out before the year ends.
Kanye West’s Instagram empty amid album release rumors
West has wiped his Instagram feed clear, removing all his posts and turning his profile picture entirely white. The album is set to release on December 12. Nevertheless, music artists typically pull out this “clearing their feed” move as a way to promote their new album or to make a major announcement. While the tease has stirred fresh excitement among fans, it has also raised concerns about another possible delay given Ye’s controversial history.
In June 2025, West dropped the names of three tracks from the albums they were on: “PREACHER MAN,” BEAUTY AND THE BEAST,” and “DAMN.” According to Vibe, he also interacted with a fan page called YEFANATICS, where he shared some details about his upcoming album. He said, “Releasing 5 of the songs 2nt. Will release another 5 2mrw. And then more the next day. Still working on the album. Share this message.” Other revealed tracks also include Can’t Hurry Love, White Lines, Circles, Bully, Last Breath (ft. Peso pluma), This One Here, Highs and Lows, and Melrose (ft. Playboi Carti & Ty Dolla $ign).
In a conversation with Justin Laboy, West revealed that it was his son, Saint, who inspired his album’s title. Sharing the moment he defined the album’s name, he added, “My son [Saint] was playing with some kid, and then he kicked him,” West told Laboy. “I asked my son, ‘why you do that?’ and he said, ‘because he weak.’ I was like, ‘this man is really a bully.”
