American Pie star Tara Reid recently claimed she was drugged at the Chicago hotel where she was staying. In a video shared by TMZ, a barely conscious Reid was shown being taken to the hospital on a stretcher. The actress has since reportedly filed a police report, believing the drink she ordered before being drugged was spiked.

TMZ shared a video showing the American Pie actress in a drugged state.
In the video, Reid is seen hugging a man for support while being helped to a nearby wheelchair and escorted to a stretcher. The actress is subsequently loaded into the stretcher by paramedics and taken to the hospital.
After getting treated and regaining consciousness, Reid discussed her experience with TMZ. She recalled that she had gone downstairs to the bar for a drink after checking into the hotel. Reid said that she left her drink at the bar to go outside for a smoke and recalled seeing YouTubers filming.
She then recalled going back to have her drink and seeing it covered with a napkin, which she found “weird.” “And then I drank my drink, and without even like finishing my drink, I just passed out,” she further recalled. “And before I knew it, I was in the hospital.”
Reid described her experience as “scary,” warning people to be careful with their drinks. She revealed that she got a “vague” explanation from the hospital, which told her she was drugged and that she didn’t enquire about the drug that was used on her. Reid stressed she couldn’t explain the events that transpired as she couldn’t remember what happened to her.
At the time of the incident, authorities told TMZ that there was no mention of the possibility that Reid was drugged. They also stated that no one reached out to address the “drugging” allegation after the incident took place.
Reid’s representative Jane Owen reportedly told multiple outlets that the former has filed a police report. The latter said that Reid believed “her drink was tampered with” and she was “cooperating fully” with the investigation (via USA Today).
