Former The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, have decided to end their decade-long marriage. In a recent press statement, Barruss has asked for privacy as she “navigates this transition” with her family.

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker, known for their appearances on RHOA, have officially separated after 11 years of marriage. Burruss, a former RHOA star, revealed on November 21, 2025, that she is pursuing a divorce.
“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce,” she told PEOPLE. “This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect.”
The R&B singer continued, “I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth. I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace, and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family.”
Kandi Burruss reportedly met Todd Tucker on the sets of RHOA Season 4 in 2011. The two became engaged in 2013 and later exchanged vows in 2014. They currently share two children. The couple’s relationship was frequently featured on RHOA, while Todd simultaneously fulfilled his role as production manager. The couple exited the show in 2023 during its 15th season.
Outside of the show, the two have also pursued several business and creative ventures together. The pair collaborated on TV projects, with Tucker serving as the executive producer for shows like Kandi & the Gang and other Bravo productions. Additionally, they’ve also done Broadway shows, like The Wiz and Othello.
The pair co-owned several restaurants, including the Old Lady Gang chain and Blaze Steak & Seafood. However, both restaurants have closed permanently due to various issues.
