Chiefs’ Heiress Wants Taylor Swift Instead of Bad Bunny for Super Bowl

The debate around this year’s Super Bowl halftime show has gotten another voice, and this time, it involves the Kansas City Chiefs’ heiress Gracie Hunt. As discussion intensifies over Bad Bunny headlining Super Bowl LX, Hunt has stepped into the conversation. She has suggested that Taylor Swift would be a better fit for the event’s family-focused legacy.

The selection of global superstar Bad Bunny to headline the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show has been controversial. Critics have pointed to his past comments about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which led to a petition for his replacement that has gathered thousands of signatures. This tension prompted the conservative nonprofit Turning Point USA to announce its own “All-American Halftime Show,” focusing on patriotism and faith.

Gracie Hunt, daughter of Chiefs chairman and CEO Clark Hunt, publicly praised the initiative. Speaking on Fox News Channel’s The Will Cain Show, she said, “I really respect Erika for all that she’s done, especially with creating a halftime show for America.” She highlighted her family’s long-standing belief that the Super Bowl should be “something children and families of all ages could come together and watch.” She added that her grandfather passed down this vision to her.

Hunt emphasized the importance of positive role models for young viewers. “Young women, young men, and everyone, they just need someone to look up to,” she said. She supported Turning Point USA’s effort to offer “something real to connect with,” especially for audiences seeking more traditional entertainment.

When discussing future halftime performers, Hunt named Jason Aldean as one option. She also added that she would “love to see Miss Taylor Swift up there sometime.” Her comments positioned Swift, who is currently one of the world’s biggest entertainers and a frequent presence at Chiefs games, as a strong cultural fit for the values she believes should define the event.
