Tom Felton Reunites With Harry Potter Costar on Broadway

Tom Felton, who recently reprised his role as Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter films in the Cursed Child play on Broadway, reunited with his on-screen dad, Jason Isaacs, who played Lucius Malfoy. Isaacs attended a recent performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Lyric Theater. The duo, along with Aidan Close, who plays Scorpius Malfoy in the play, shared a heartwarming moment backstage, delighting fans with a rare three-generation photo of the Malfoy family.

Tom Felton made his Broadway debut as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, appearing on stage during the November 11 performance. As soon as he stepped on the stage in character, he received a 30-second cheer and applause before he could continue reciting his lines.

In the meantime, fans received another surprise when Jason Isaacs appeared at one of the shows. The iconic on-screen father-son duo from the Harry Potter films also met backstage and posed for pictures together.

The Cursed Child US Instagram account posted behind-the-scenes photos of Felton, Isaacs, and Aidan Close. Fans stormed the comments section of the post captioned, “3 generations of Malfoys.” One fan wrote about Isaacs, “We were in his row and he was the proudest dad taking videos during the curtain call! So touching he was there.”

Even Tom Felton posted a carousel of photos from the night. He wrote in the caption, “No one does it quite like the Malfoys ? – three generations meet for the first time on stage – Needless to say , it was magical… Love you dad @therealjasonisaacs Love you son @aidanmclose #PottaH.”

Meanwhile, Jason Isaacs wrote on his Instagram post, “I came. I saw. He conquered. You had your own giant boots to fill, son, and you burst them at the seams. Balls like ostrich eggs. So brave. So proud. So glad to be there.”
