Glenn Close Defends Kim Kardashian & Her Critically Panned All’s Fair Series

During a recent interview, Golden Globe winner Glenn Close defended Kim Kardashian with regard to their new legal drama series, All’s Fair. She also shared her thoughts on the latter’s acting skills amid the critical reviews received by the show. The ongoing series premiered on Hulu on November 4, 2025.

Glenn Close says All’s Fair is ‘pretty f*****g good’ despite abysmal reviews

The Fatal Attraction star recently sat down for an interview, during which she showed support for her All’s Fair co-star.

When asked about how Kim Kardashian is to work with on set, Glenn Close remarked to The Guardian, “She’s lovely! And very smart.” Further adding to how she feels about the SKIMS founder, she added, “Very, very conscientious with her kids. When we were filming, she was going through working towards her law degree, and near the end, she would have flashcards.”

The veteran actress also mentioned how Kardashian now has her law degree, and she had asked her if she would be practising. To this, she explained how Kim replied, saying that she just wants to keep it as an achievement in her “back pocket.”

Furthermore, when speaking of how Kim Kardashian took up her first lead role without any acting background, Glenn Close burst out laughing. She jokingly shared, “No. But she surrounded herself with really good people.” Then, defending her co-star amid the show’s quite critical reviews, Close added, “I swear to God, I’ve seen all nine episodes and it’s pretty f—–g good. It is what it is: it’s juicy and outrageous at times and touching.”

Co-created by Ryan Murphy, Joe Baken, and Jon Robin Baitz, All’s Fair also features Teyana Taylor, Naomi Watts, and Niecy Nash, among others. Interestingly, the series premiered on the same day as Kim Kardashian’s recent bar exam attempt. With five episodes out now, and two more coming in the following weeks, the final two episodes will come out on December 9, 2025.
