Doherty has now been released from jail after posting a $3,500 bond. Following his release, he has been back to the business of posting content on TikTok, where he addressed his latest legal drama. He also told 7News about his jail experience. “Stay out of jail. It was the worst experience of my life,” he added.
According to a report, Doherty was arrested for charges of drug possession and resisting an officer on Saturday. In the clip circulating online, the cop approaches Doherty to cuff him as he showcases confusion and hesitancy. He then took his phone from the other hand and appeared to be using it before the cop took his other hand to cuff him. As they got him arrested, Doherty looked nervous and said, “I was trying to walk up the street.” This all happened when Doherty was shooting content right in the middle of Miami streets. The officer then replied, “All you had to do was get on the f–king sidewalk, that’s it.”
Other videos also showcased the moment when he challenged a cop to a duel, but was confronted by them. This happened when the officer ordered him to go on the sidewalk, but he refused. He mentioned that he would only listen after they had a duel. “You think you’re funny? If you’re gonna be funny, get out of the f–king street. I don’t know who the f–k you think you are, bro,” an officer said. While getting arrested, he did agree to go on the sidewalk, but it was too late.
