Dallas Cowboys has announced that Post Malone will perform at their Thanksgiving game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Apart from Malone, other singers that will headline this big event include Jack White and Lil Jon. Jon will perform at the Baltimore Ravens-Cincinnati Bengals game, whereas White will perform at the Detroit Lions-Green Bay Packers game in different stadiums (via Billboard).
The Dallas Cowboys took to Instagram to share Malone’s halftime performance news. They shared a short teaser, followed by the announcement. The caption read, “Our big secret’s out! The one and only @postmalone will ring in The Salvation Army’s famous #RedKettleKickoff at the Dallas Cowboys halftime show this Thanksgiving on CBS. Let’s make this a Texas-sized kickoff!”
Earlier this year, he also performed at the Super Bowl Tailgate. This performance took place before the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles game on February 9. The show was hosted and sponsored by YouTube.
During a past conversation on the New Heights podcast, Travis and Jason Kelce discussed memorable moments from the Super Bowl, including sharing a special moment with Malone. After the Chiefs won against the San Francisco 49ers in 2020, Travis revealed that Malone got their signatures on his arm. He said, “So me and Pat, I don’t know if you knew this, Post Malone got our signatures on his arm.”
Sharing the story behind the signature, he mentioned that they went to Malone’s concert post-game. Before Malone was about to get on stage, he asked Travis and Patrick Mahomes to play a round of beer pong. He recalled that they did a bet where the loser got a signature. Malone lost, and he had to fulfill the bet’s condition.
