NBA Star Shuts Down IShowSpeed With One Line

Speed might be one of the biggest streamers on the planet, always showing his energy and athletic side. But this time, he has been bested. On the latest episode of Speed Goes Pro, the streamer got hilariously humbled. NBA legend Kevin Durant clapped back with a savage reply that left fans in stitches.

Kevin Durant’s savage reply to IShowSpeed goes viral

A clip that recently blew up online shows YouTuber IShowSpeed and NBA legend Kevin Durant having a little shoot-off in the recent episode of Speed Goes Pro. Both Speed and KD started sinking shots, racking up three-pointers.

However, when Durant, without any effort, sank his third in a row, Speed couldn’t help but say, “How is he not missing?” KD just grinned and responded, “They’ve been asking that for 20 years, brotha.”

Fans wasted no time flooding the comments. One wrote, “Classic KD,” while another said, “KD knows how to talk trash.” One bold fan even stirred the pot by saying, “KD’s a better shooter than Steph Curry.”

Just a day ago, Speed shared a clip where he got a call from Kevin Durant himself. In the video, Speed tried to challenge KD to a one-on-one. Durant told Speed to go to the gym and prepare.

To be fair, why would Kevin Durant miss? Kevin Durant is one of the most naturally gifted scorers the game has ever seen. He owes this to his size, finesse, and shooting touch, which almost gives him an unfair advantage.

Over his career, KD has averaged about 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists per game while hitting over 50% from the field, nearly 40% from three, and close to 90% from the line.

Even in the 2023–24 season, he was still dominating defenders, putting up 27 points per game on over 52% shooting and over 41% from deep. In 2024, he crossed the 29,000-point mark, becoming just the eighth player in NBA history to do it.

With two rings and an MVP, Durant has proven he can score from anywhere. He has also achieved 15 All-Star nods, whether it’s deep threes, midrange daggers, or smooth drives to the rim.

On the other hand, the internet now knows Darren Jason Watkins Jr. as IShowSpeed. He is one of the biggest names on the internet right now. Just a couple of years after starting streaming, Speed blew up. His wild energy, unpredictable streams, and die-hard love for Cristiano Ronaldo fueled his rise.

He has over 45 million YouTube subscribers and billions of views and is practically a YouTube superstar. Speed has also partnered with Kai Cenat, MrBeast, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Fortnite.
