As the excitement for Stranger Things Season 5 gets bigger, Noah Schnapp has revealed an interesting similarity between fans and the cast of the show. The 8-episode final season of the hit Netflix series will premiere its first part on November 26, 2025, with the finale episode coming out on New Year’s Eve.
Noah Schnapp says Stranger Things cast won’t get a pre-screening of the finale
During a recent conversation, the Bridge of Spies actor, who plays Will Byers on Stranger Things, revealed that fans aren’t ready for what’s in store for the final installment. Furthermore, there won’t be any pre-screening of the finale, even for the cast and crew, in order to maintain secrecy.
Noah Schnapp also mentioned to Entertainment Weekly how viewers will get “more spectacle, but still even more intimate.” He explained, “The stakes just keep getting higher and higher, and the show — you are not ready. I just watched 5 and 6, and I was sobbing. It’s so good. And then the finale, they’re not gonna show any of us, so I won’t see it until the world sees it, and I’m just as excited as you guys are.”
On November 26, the first 4 episodes of Stranger Things Season 5 will become available to stream on Netflix, followed by another three on Christmas Day. Ultimately, Episode 8, which serves as the series finale, will come out in select theaters in the US and Canada on December 31, 2025, along with on Netflix.
Meanwhile, cast members Joe Keery and Maya Hawke also commented on Season 5. Keery, who essays Steve Harrington on the show, revealed that the final few episodes will be a “big swing.”
Moreover, Hawke, who plays Robin, shared, “This season, the volume gets turned up all the way right from the beginning. The stakes are gonna feel high from the very beginning to the very end.”
In Season 5, Eleven is hiding from the U.S. government, which wants to use her as a weapon. Meanwhile, she and the gang are training to get strong enough to fight Vecna in a final battle.
