While many may picture Mark Zuckerberg as a nerdy genius with limited social skills, the Meta boss is actually a trained MMA fighter. UFC CEO Dana White recently claimed that Zuckerberg can “beat the s**t out of people.” He also called Zuckerberg a great athlete and said that the public perception of the tech mogul is far from reality.
Dana White praises Mark Zuckerberg’s MMA skills
UFC CEO Dana White joined Meta earlier this year and has since worked in close proximity with Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook and CEO of Meta. In a recent podcast appearance on The Skinny Confidential, White emphasized that appearances can be deceiving, saying that Zuckerberg is actually very athletic.
White said he realized this after working extensively with Zuckerberg and observing his MMA training. “People talk s**t about Zuckerberg — Zuckerberg’s actually a great athlete,” White said. “He trains in MMA, he surfs, he does all this s**t. Zuckerberg will beat the shit out of you.”
He continued, “Everybody thinks he’s some computer nerd. Mark Zuckerberg will beat the living s**t out of you. All these guys that talk stuff about him on the internet, he’ll kick their a**.”
A big part of this perception comes from the film The Social Network, where Jesse Eisenberg played Mark Zuckerberg.
The Meta CEO, however, is often seen participating in grappling tournaments or training alongside some of the UFC’s best fighters. He also regularly attends some of the biggest UFC events.
Previously, there were even talks of a potential fight between Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. If that ever happened, Zuckerberg might have a considerable advantage. “The moral of this story is all you telephone tough guys and internet tough guys that talk s**t about Mark Zuckerberg — Zuckerberg will beat the s**t out of every one of you,” White concluded. “Just for the record.”
