Chick-fil-A is expanding its menu with two new chicken sandwiches. The items are part of a one-month test run, which was originally expected to begin this month but has since been delayed. The announcement of the addition of the new items comes shortly after the fast-food chain brought back its holiday menu.
Chick-fil-A is launching a new chicken-waffle sandwich
The Facebook account of Chick-fil-A‘s Westminster, Maryland, branch recently announced that two chicken and waffles sandwiches will be served in select outlets in the Baltimore area as test items. One is the breakfast sandwich, while the other is a lunch/dinner sandwich.
As mentioned in the post, testing was supposed to start two days ago, on November 10, 2025. However, it has since been delayed to December 1. The outlet shared the reason for the delay in a follow-up post, revealing they wanted to ensure that the waffles were of the best possible quality.
The test will run through January 24, 2026, so fans are advised to try the items while supplies last.
The breakfast and lunch/dinner sandwiches look the same. Both have crispy chicken and smoked bacon stacked between warm maple waffles. The only difference is that the lunch/dinner sandwich is larger than the breakfast sandwich.
Meanwhile, select Chick-fil-A outlets in San Antonio, Texas, will also be testing the Chicken & Waffles menu. However, only the breakfast sandwich will be available as per a statement from Chick-fil-A shared to multiple outlets via e-mail.
Moreover, Baltimore outlets will offer customers the option to buy only a waffle and an accompanying syrup.
