When it comes to viral collectibles, fans often go to extremes—but OnlyFansSophie Rain may have just set a new standard. Sophie Rain spent $1K on a viral bear cup

Sophie Rain shared that she spent days hunting through more than 50 Starbucks just to track down the viral Bearista Cup, a cute glass tumbler shaped like a teddy bear in a green beanie. The collectible, part of Starbucks’ 2025 holiday drop on November 6, quickly became the must-have seasonal item.

After a long search, she finally found a store three hours away, but got there just after someone else grabbed the last cup. Not ready to leave empty-handed, Sophie pulled out $1,000 in cash and offered it on the spot. The buyer said yes, and just like that, she got her hands on the coveted cup.

“So I go up to her and I’m like, can I please buy that off of you? I’ve been looking for this cup. I will do anything. I have $1000 in my car, cash, I can give you,” she recalled. “And she did not hesitate to say yes. She was so nice.”

Starbucks’ Bearista Cup has gone totally viral with many fans camping outside stores. The craze even sparked memes and skits of baristas pretending to be automated messages saying the cups are sold out.

Starbucks isn’t slowing down either. They’re teaming up with fashion brand Roller Rabbit for a new drop on December 2, giving collectors another chance at limited-edition merch.

As for Sophie Rain, she is loving her purchase. “Yeah, I might have spent 30 times the amount on this,” she said, “but now I can flex every single time I go into a Starbucks.”
