John Cena recently went viral for his autograph-signing speed. Footage shared online showed the WWE star signing posters in quick succession, during which he frequently signed without looking. Over the years, the wrestler-actor has garnered attention for his various acting roles and for being the subject of a popular internet meme, where many believe he is invisible.
John Cena’s autograph-signing skills catch fans’ attention
Online footage showed the Peacemaker star and CM Punk at an autograph signing backstage ahead of the RAW match in Boston, Massachusetts, on November 10, 2025. The former frequently glanced at the camera and smiled while signing. He signed the autograph at an incredible speed, matched only by a person taking the signed autographs and keeping them to the side.
Hilariously, at one point, due to not looking at the posters he was signing, John Cena ended up signing a blank piece of paper.
The speed at which Cena signed the autographs captured widespread attention. “My man is not even looking at the signature, he is doing, More like a Signature bot,” a user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Lol why he sign like AI,” another added.
One user suggested that the Heads of State actor’s signing speed rivaled his iconic catchphrase, “You can’t see me.”
Interestingly, Cena’s impeccable speed while signing autographs is rather unsurprising. Two years earlier, he shared a TikTok video showing off this unique skill.
The 48-year-old recently achieved a major milestone in his WWE career. He won the WWE Intercontinental Championship after defeating Dominik Mysterio, finally becoming the 25th Grand Slam Champion. He had previously won other championships that made him eligible for the title multiple times. Cena is a 17-time WWE champion, 5-time United States champion, and four-time Tag Team champion.
Cena’s retirement match and the conclusion of his The Last Time Is Now farewell tour is scheduled for December 13, 2025, at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLII.
