Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez reportedly picked up the entire tab for Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday bash, which was an extravagant, James Bond–themed celebration at the billionaire’s $165 million Beverly Hills mansion.
Insider says Jeff Bezos paid hefty amount for Kris Jenner’s birthday
According to ShuterScoop, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez hosted and funded the event from start to finish. Bezos reportedly told Jenner, “It’s your milestone, our treat.” The lavish party featured a live performance by Bruno Mars, champagne towers, and caviar bars.
The guest list included some of the biggest names in entertainment, like Oprah Winfrey, Adele, Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, and even Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Jenner’s six children, Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie, were also in attendance, along with her boyfriend, Corey Gamble.
The Amazon founder’s mansion, a Georgian-style property built in the 1930s, was decked out for the 007 theme, with a black-tie dress code. An insider told PEOPLE that the night perfectly reflected Jenner’s personality, which is bold, extravagant, and filled with affection.
“It was just all about celebrating Kris,” the source claimed. Further adding, “It was everything you’d expect from Kris: over-the-top, glamorous and full of love from her family. It was obvious that she had the best night.” Interestingly, no TV cameras were filming the event, despite the Kardashian-Jenner family’s ongoing reality series The Kardashians.
While the night dazzled inside, things got loud enough to catch the attention of the Beverly Hills police, according to Rob Shuter. Officers were called twice, first after Bruno Mars’ live set reportedly “rattled the hills” with booming sound, and again when massive faux hedges installed for privacy were found blocking traffic without a permit. “It was chaos and rich people drama rolled into one,” a guest said.
