Goldblum then opened up about the impact Wicked has made on his lifestyle. “Working with Jon Chu [is] amazing. It’s changed me. You know, after doing this movie, we talked about the animal cruelty, I stopped eating meat and poultry,” the actor shared. “We need the world to work for everybody on Earth and every creature, too,” Goldblum added on a poignant note.

Needless to say, fans are excited to see Goldblum reprise his role as the Wizard of Oz in the upcoming musical Wicked: For Good. A sequel to the 2024 blockbuster, this movie adapts the second act of Stephen Schwartz’s iconic stage musical, Wicked.

Wicked became the fifth-highest-grossing film of 2024 and earned multiple nominations at the 97th Academy Awards, winning Best Costume Design and Best Production Design. Early reactions to the sequel suggest that it may surpass the original, with critics lauding Chu’s direction and the performance by the cast.

Wicked: For Good returns with the leading stars Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba. Other notable cast members include Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, Ethan Slater, and more.

The movie arrives in theaters on Friday, November 21.
