Popular international fast food chain KFC has caught the Stranger Things fever with a fun new collaboration menu. Such is the fandom that it has rebranded as Hawkins Fried Chicken across the UK and Ireland for its collaboration with the sci-fi/horror series. While fans are already losing their minds over the unexpected tie-up, KFC added to their excitement by teasing future surprises.
KFC’s new Stranger Things menu comes with a red burger and ‘bold’ secret sauce
Ahead of the show’s fifth and final season, KFC UK has joined forces with Netflix’s Stranger Things to curate a limited-time menu that’s straight out of the Upside Down.
According to Metro UK, the collaboration menu, inspired by the popular sci-fi series, features two mouth-watering items.
- The Stranger Things Burger: Packed with flavor and nostalgia, the showstopper burger has a vibrant red bun with black sesame seeds. The fillings consist of a fiery Zinger fillet, melted cheese, crunchy pickled slaw, and a limited edition Sweet and Spicy Secret sauce. KFC describes the burger as “saucy, juicy, and unapologetically bold.”
- Stranger Wings: The second addition to the menu definitely doesn’t come second in terms of taste. The classic chicken wings are drenched in the same secret hot sauce that possesses “a supernatural kick enough to rift your taste buds wide open.”
The Stranger Things Burger will be priced at £9.49 as a meal with regular signature fries and a drink. Moreover, it will come in a box meal for £10.99. This includes fries, one extra side, a choice of chicken, and a drink. Meanwhile, the Stranger Wings will be priced at £3.99 for three pieces.
KFC UK’s Stranger Things menu will be available from November 10, 2025, to January 4, 2026, in outlets across the UK and Ireland. Rumor has it that there’ll be more additions to the menu with Netflix releasing Volume 2 on Christmas Day. Volume 3, on the other hand, will arrive on New Year’s Eve.
Hinting at more surprises to come, KFC said, “This is just the beginning”. “Something is coming and you’ll want to be there when the lights start flickering”, it teased further.
This isn’t KFC’s first collaboration with Stranger Things. Season 2 of Stranger Things featured a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken at a dinner scene involving Nancy and Steve. Hence, the collaboration has triggered a sense of nostalgia in the OG Stranger Things fans.
However, it is currently unclear if and when KFC’s Stranger Things menu will be available outside the UK and Ireland.
