RadarOnline revealed excerpts from David Leigh and Vasso Kortesis’s book, “Duchess of York: Uncensored,” which was published in 1996. The authors claimed that the ex-duchess was romantically involved with a Texas millionaire, Steve Wyatt.
They reportedly met at Houston Grand Opera’s British Opera Festival in 1989. “Steve Wyatt was the main reason for the breakdown of her marriage,” Leigh wrote. He alleged that the then-royal and the businessman were madly in love. According to the book, Wyatt came into her life when she was feeling lonely without her husband’s support.
“She went to Texas, and she met a very handsome and rich Texan who was very attentive and loving, and they very quickly fell in love,” Leigh claimed. Adding to it, he mentioned that Wyatt was the “love of her life,” while Andrew has always been Ferguson’s “best friend.”
The former royals’ companionship was supposedly quite strong, as the two stayed together even after their divorce. They lived with their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, at Royal Lodge. But, recently, they were stripped of their royal titles and evicted from their home.
According to an earlier report, Andrew has seemingly been asked to move to his late father’s old home, Wood Farm. However, Ferguson has reportedly not moved in with him to the Sandringham estate. Her new living arrangement has not been revealed yet.
