After nearly a decade, Tom Hiddleston is officially returning as Jonathan Pine in The Night Manager Season 2. The BBC has dropped the first teaser, giving fans a sneak peek at what to expect.
The Night Manager Season 2 teaser follows Jonathan Pine’s attempts to expose a conspiracy
In The Night Manager Season 2, Jonathan Pine will be seen living under a new identity as Alex Goodwin, working for a small MI6 surveillance unit in London. His attempt at a quiet life doesn’t last long, though. One night, a former mercenary tracks him down with a warning and a mission. Pine must locate an arms dealer named Teddy Dos Santos, pulling him back into the dangerous underworld he had tried to escape.
And, just like every other hero, his inner turmoil, caused by his past choices, also continues to haunt him. So, from brutal interrogations to narrow escapes, The Night Manager Season 2 is expected to be as psychologically gripping as it is action-packed.
Now, the Season 2 teaser gives quick glimpses of explosions, surveillance shots, and Hiddleston running through unfamiliar alleys. Caught in the web of espionage and betrayal that ruled the first season, the upcoming season would have high-stakes action as he tries to uncover a dangerous conspiracy that could shake global powers.
Alongside Tom Hiddleston, several fan-favorite characters are set to return. Olivia Colman reprises her role as intelligence officer Angela Burr, while Alistair Petrie, Michael Nardone, Noah Jupe, and Douglas Hodge are also confirmed to return. New cast members include Diego Calva as Teddy Dos Santos, Camila Morrone as Roxana, Indira Varma as Mayra, Hayley Squires as Sally, and Paul Chahid as Basil.
While The Night Manager Season 2 does not yet have an official release date, reports suggest it could premiere in late 2025 or early 2026.
