Carrie Ann Inaba has come out to share her thoughts on Danielle Fishel’s elimination from DWTS Season 34 following the November 4 episode. This comes a week after the Dancing with the Stars judge referred to the latter as a “tiny little woman,” a comment that drew backlash online.

Following Danielle Fishel’s exit from Dancing With the Stars, the veteran dancer and choreographer shared a photo of herself alongside the Boy Meets World star and her dancing partner, Pasha Pashkov.
Carrie Ann Inaba captioned the Instagram story as, “Danielle & Pasha, we are all going to miss you. So glad we had a moment to chat after the show.” (via US Weekly)
Later on November 5, when Fishel shared a video on Instagram talking about her time on the show, Inaba responded with a heartfelt comment. She wrote, “You are such an incredible human. And I was very sad about last night. I’m so glad we had a moment to speak after the show at the pod.”
The DWTS veteran judge continued, “You have shown so many people how to be professional and composed in any situation. You’ve graced us with your poise and passion. And you have also given so many people who watch our show an example of how to move through challenges. You are the true meaning of a Star.”
Fishel and Pashkov were eliminated during the November 4 episode, “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night.” They performed to Aerosmith’s classic, “Dream On.”
However, Inaba’s comments have become a highlight as a result of her harsh comments on Fishel’s performance. It happened during the previous “Halloween Night” episode, which aired on October 28. After their performance, Inaba criticized the actress, saying, “You have to use the space because you are a tiny little woman.”
Nevertheless, Fishel took her feedback positively. “I am a tiny little woman, but she’s big on the inside, very powerful. So, I need to unleash her more often,” she shared during her confessional. (via E! News) However, Inaba’s words didn’t sit well with the audience and garnered a lot of backlash.
During the November 4 episode, Carrie Ann Inaba took the opportunity to apologize for her comments on Danielle Fishel’s body. “I would like to apologize for my words if they hurt you at all because I didn’t mean that at all,” she told her.
The former The Dish host responded, saying, “They did not hurt me.” Inaba then added, “You are small, but you do pack a punch, and that’s why I can say it, because I believe in you.”
