According to Star’s source, West and his wife, Bianca Censori, are worried about North’s public exposure. Meanwhile, Censori believes that they should be more present in North’s life. A source reportedly told the publication, “Kanye’s worried his little girl is acting up. Bianca says they need to be proactive and see the kids, especially North, who clearly needs her dad and stepmom more than ever.” However, as of now, the rapper has not yet publicly addressed the controversy.
The TikTok post in question, shared on October 20, was captioned “Fake piercings and fake tatts 4 life.” The 12-year-old, who shares a TikTok account with her mother, Kim Kardashian, appeared in a recent video wearing blue hair, contact lenses, temporary face tattoos, and manicured nails. The look quickly sparked major backlash online.
Despite the playful tone, social media users quickly criticized North’s appearance, calling it inappropriate for her age. Kardashian later clarified that the look was part of a Halloween-inspired costume session with North and her friends. In an interview with Complex, she explained that the girls were experimenting with style. The reality TV star said, “They looked like an opium Powerpuff Girls … [that’s] what they were going for.”
Kardashian also explained that North herself responded to the backlash, calling it “a good clapback.” The reality TV star said, “So, she [North] takes my phone, and she writes back to a comment, and she goes, ‘This is such a non-issue.’”
