Travis Kelce ‘Frustrated’ Over Chiefs’ 2025 Performance

After a far from ideal start for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2025, star player Travis Kelce has expressed his frustration after the team ended its winning streak with a loss to the Buffalo Bills 28-21 on Sunday. Now, the team will have to step up in their final eight games of the season to salvage something out of this.

Travis Kelce spoke out about this on his New Heights podcast.

After the Chiefs accumulated another defeat this season on Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills, Travis Kelce addressed the team’s performance on his New Heights podcast. “I can’t say that I’m not frustrated,” Kelce began, “More from the entire start of the season than just this Bills game. I mean, there are games that I don’t think we had any business losing (via AZ Sports).”

He added, “I feel like we didn’t come out with our best punch against Buffalo. We got to find a way to clean all that up, man.”

So far, Kansas City has lost every game by one possession. All four losses have been to teams that have postseason spots. Moreover, just one of its five wins has come against a team with a winning record. This makes it seem like the Chiefs are really struggling this year.

Of course, there is still time for the Chiefs to turn things around. But it will be more difficult than ever.

“We got to get back to playing passionate Chiefs football, dying for each other out there on the field,” Kelce said about getting back on track, “Whatever that takes during the week to get yourself ready on Sundays. Even on a short week, it doesn’t matter. No excuses.”

The famous NFL star continued, “We have a few games ahead of us where we’re going to have short weeks. I think there’s a stint around Christmas where we have back-to-back short weeks.”

The team has to pick up the pace fast and do much better in the coming weeks. This is the only way the Chiefs could ensure that they do not miss out on the postseason entirely.
