Jennifer Lawrence Says Robert Pattinson Is ‘Not Pervy’ Like Other Actors

Jennifer Lawrence has opened up about working with Robert Pattinson on the set of their latest movie, Die My Love. The actress revealed that she felt comfortable filming sex scenes with Pattinson and did not need an intimacy coordinator.

Jennifer Lawrence reveals she didn’t require an intimacy coordinator with Robert Pattinson

Speaking on the Las Culturistas podcast, Jennifer Lawrence opened up about her friendship and onscreen chemistry with Robert Pattinson. “We did dance lessons together, which was like team-building exercises,” Lawrence shared. “In the end, it ended up being more helpful just for choreography of sex scenes and fighting scenes.”

When host Matt Rogers asked if they had an intimacy coordinator on set, Lawrence couldn’t remember, saying, “We did not have one. Or maybe we did.” The Hunger Games star went on to say that a coordinator wasn’t needed because she “felt really safe” with Pattinson.

Lawrence went on to praise Pattinson and gushed about his relationship with his partner, Suki Waterhouse. She shared, “He’s not pervy, and he’s very in love with Suki. We mostly were talking about our kids and relationships, so there wasn’t any weird, like, ‘Does he think I like him?’”

Expanding on the topic of intimacy coordinators, Lawrence added, “If there was a little bit of that, I would probably have an intimacy coordinator. A lot of male actors get offended if you don’t want to f*** them, and then the punishment starts.” However, the actress strongly asserted that Pattinson is “not like that, for the record.”

Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson’s latest movie, Die My Love, is a black comedy-drama based on the 2012 novel Die, My Love by Argentine author Ariana Harwicz. It follows a young woman who suffers from postpartum depression and decides to move to a rural town with her partner. However, the couple enters psychosis after experiencing some distressing events.

Die My Love arrives in theaters this Friday, November 7.
