Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce enjoyed a dinner date at Manhattan’s upscale The Polo Bar on Wednesday. The couple arrived together, with the global pop star and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end seen holding hands as they made their entrance. They both opted for long-sleeved black tops.
Swift elevated her off-the-shoulder look with a pair of striking blue trousers and accessorized with a silver necklace and a black purse. Kelce complemented her style with baggy brown pants and a layered set of gold and diamond chains. The sighting came amid speculated shade by Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole.
The model and sports host dated Kelce for several years before their 2022 breakup. She went viral for dressing as R&B icon Toni Braxton for Halloween. Her costume, inspired by Braxton’s 2000 hit “He Wasn’t Man Enough,” became a hot topic among Swifties, who saw it as a subtle jibe.
“She’s an icon. She’s a legend,” Nicole wrote in her Instagram post‘s caption, tagging Braxton. However, fans quickly flooded her comments, suggesting that the song choice carried a hidden meaning. “This is so cringey. 2.5 years babe,” one user commented, while another added, “Baby, it’s time to move on. This is not the first time Nicole has faced accusations of using a costume to send a message. She previously admitted on a podcast that a past Halloween look was aimed at another former relationship.
