Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt met in secret before their viral reunion at the SAG Awards 2020, and Reese Witherspoon confirmed that. The “Morning Show” star recently appeared on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast and made rare comments on her longtime friend and co-star’s relationship with her ex, Pitt. She even revealed that Aniston had invited her former husband, along with all her exes, to her 50th birthday party in 2019, just ahead of their public reunion.
Reese Witherspoon says Jennifer Aniston invited all her exes to her 50th birthday party
Reese Witherspoon all but confirmed that Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt had met before their reunion at the SAG Awards 2020. During her appearance on the “Armchair Expert” podcast, the former offered a rare update about her “The Morning Show” co-star’s relationship with her ex-husband while addressing recent rumors.
The “Legally Blonde” star weighed in that Aniston is “not who people think she is,” i.e., someone who can’t let go of her past. “She’s not holding onto old things,” she affirmed about her longtime friend while talking to host Dax Shepard, who jokingly chimed in about her “not pining” for Pitt.
Then, in her following statement praising the “Friends” alum, Witherspoon highlighted her 50th birthday celebrations six years ago. She revealed that people from Aniston’s past, including those from her teenage years, her 20s, every ex-husband, and ex-boyfriend, were there for her milestone. To this, Shepard opined that she’s not a “burner of bridges,” and the guest responded affirmatively.
Back in 2019, Page Six exclusively reported that Jennifer Aniston’s birthday party saw all her exes, including Brad Pitt, in attendance. In fact, Pitt’s ex-fiancée, Gwyneth Paltrow, was also present on the starry night alongside other Hollywood elites.
Aniston and the “F1” star began dating in 1998 and finally tied the knot two years later. However, in early 2005, they announced their separation and have since remained friends.
