Nick Mohammed has kept fans guessing about what will happen in Ted Lasso Season 4.
In a recent conversation with Collider, the actor was asked about the future of Ted Lasso, and he responded simply that he is “sworn to secrecy.” Mohammed avoided confirming or denying his involvement in the upcoming season. However, he acknowledged that filming for the next chapter is already underway.
The actor said, “I think sworn to secrecy is about right. Look, I know that it’s about a whole different set of characters. I can’t even talk about it without giving anything away! We’ll have to see.” Mohammed added that he has been in touch with several cast members, noting, “But I know that they’re filming it now, and I’ve been socializing with them all.” He said, “They’re all very well, so we’ll see what happens.”
Earlier this year, Mohammed announced that several of his Show Pony comedy tour dates would be postponed due to filming commitments. Though he didn’t name the project causing the conflict, he asked fans not to speculate. The actor added, “The last thing I want is for people to be going mad.”
While Mohammed continues to remain tight-lipped about Ted Lasso, he has taken on a new role within the Apple TV+ lineup. In the upcoming Season 5 of one of Apple TV’s other hit series, Slow Horses, he plays London mayor Zahar Jaffrey, a politician navigating a heated re-election campaign.
