Eva Longoria met the Beckhams after they moved to Los Angeles. They would reportedly spend time together, and over time, her friendship with David and Victoria Beckham grew stronger, to the extent that she was named the godmother of Harper Seven, David and Victoria’s daughter.
Recently, while speaking to The Sun, the “Desperate Housewives” star got candid about her friendship with the Beckhams.
She said, “I am a fan of David Beckham, I watch David. He’s very smart. I see David and Victoria in Miami.”
Longoria also joined the 50th birthday celebrations of the former footballer at Core restaurant in West London. The 50-year-old actor, who is the same age as David, expressed that she doesn’t “mind ageing.” She further said, “I think I am going to age well.”
It’s evident that Victoria and Eva’s friendship is still going strong. The two reportedly used to spend a lot of time together, with Longoria even saying that the athlete “is an amazing cook.”
During a conversation with PEOPLE, Longoria mentioned that she and Victoria would hang out all the time. She said, “We have sleepovers all the time, mostly at their farmhouse or in London. We usually just blab all night.”
In fact, Victoria reportedly designed several of the actor’s looks for her wedding to José Bastón and played an integral role in helping her get ready. So, it’s no surprise that Longoria is the godmother of Victoria and David’s youngest daughter, Harper Seven.
