In a recent interview, the interviewer told Jennifer Lawrence that working with Robert Pattinson on Die My Love was “kind of a full circle moment” for her. The former reminded Lawrence how she had auditioned for Bella Swan in Twilight and asked if sharing the screen with Pattinson fulfilled that moment.

“Yeah, it’s the total revenge that I’ve wanted,” the No Hard Feelings actress jokingly replied to Variety. The 35-year-old actress also revealed her “favorite part” of working with The Batman actor. She said she liked being in the “same room” with him for a long time and not interacting. “I really appreciate that in a coworker,” she added.

Lawrence’s response comes two years after she touched upon losing out on the opportunity to act in Twilight. On Bill Simmons’ Rewatchables podcast, she revealed that she did not get a callback after auditioning for Bella Swan. However, she acknowledged her life would be “totally different” if she were cast.

Moreover, she explained that had she been cast in Twilight, she would still be acting in a franchise while also juggling other films to “counteract the franchise-ness” of her acting career, just as she had already been doing with The Hunger Games.

Elsewhere, Robert Pattinson recalled the first time he saw Jennifer Lawrence on screen. Speaking to Variety, he revealed that he first saw the latter on Winter’s Bone. “I just remember she was like the thing on the scene,” the Mickey 17 actor shared. He added that her performance created a lot of buzz, emphasizing its “elemental power.” “And you could just see that from the second her career started, she was the biggest star in the world,” he further stated.

Die My Love hits US theaters on November 7, 2025. Besides Pattinson and Lawrence, the film also stars Sissy Spacek, LaKeith Stanfield, and Nick Nolte, among others.
