Taylor Swift appears to have skipped Travis Kelce‘s Chiefs vs. Bills game at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, on Sunday. It does not come as a big surprise, considering the pop star has not attended any away matches this NFL season. It is allegedly due to security and stalker issues.
Taylor Swift appears to be absent from Travis Kelce’s game
Taylor Swift was allegedly nowhere to be seen at Travis Kelce’s Chiefs vs. Bills game on Sunday. The Opalite singer has only attended Chiefs home games at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City due to security issues. A source revealed to Page Six, “She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.”
Not just that, Swift is reportedly keeping a low profile even at Chiefs home games at Arrowhead Stadium. It appears that the case is allegedly due to the stalker, Brian Jason Wagner, who has wreaked havoc in the singer’s life. Sources told The Daily Mail that she is concerned about her safety and is trying to minimize her presence in the spotlight as much as possible.
The source stated, “Taylor has wanted to feel much more protected this year with her security, especially with her current stalker issues. She doesn’t want her whereabouts known every minute of the day. She wants to be safe, and she wants her family and friends to be safe.”
Previously, Wagner stalked and threatened Swift and even camped outside her Los Angeles residence. The Blank Space singer filed a petition against the 45-year-old, detailing how she virtually lives in fear due to her stalker’s alleged threatening behaviour. (via TMZ).
According to authorities, Wagner has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Swift for the next five years. Hence, the singer is reportedly being cautious. Last month, she allegedly attended a Chiefs match against the Philadelphia Eagles by hiding behind a large screen on wheels.
During the Chiefs’ game against the Commanders, Swift snuck into the VIP section and remained there till the end. However, Travis Kelce continues to express his love and gratitude towards Taylor Swift in some way or another. Notably, he danced to the hook step for The Fate of Ophelia at the Chiefs’ game against the Washington Commanders.
