Sydney Sweeney recently shared an update on Euphoria Season 3, including when filming wraps up and what the audience can look forward to the show. She was asked about the upcoming season during her attendance at Variety’s Power of Women red carpet in Los Angeles. Euphoria Season 3 is expected to hit streaming in spring 2026.
Sydney Sweeney comments on Euphoria Season 3
In a conversation with E! News, the interviewer asked Sweeney to give something that fans can expect from the upcoming Euphoria season. To this, she replied, “Hold on to those dildos.” She also revealed that “this is actually” her “last week of filming” and she just has to shoot for two more days, that is, tomorrow and Sunday. Then, the filming wraps up.
“It’s going to be super bittersweet,” she explained her feelings on concluding the shooting of Season 3, which is most likely the final chapter of the series. Reflecting on her journey on the show, she added, “I grew up with all these people. I filmed the pilot when I was 20 and season one when I was 21, so it’s definitely a crazy experience having a character with you for so long.
The Anyone But You star continued, “I get the privilege of working with a lot of the same crew and the cast for such a long amount of time, and that usually doesn’t happen.” Sweeney revealed that she would look like Cassey on her last day of filming and would probably be very emotional.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Sweeney shared with Jimmy Fallon what headspace Cassie would be in this season. She revealed, “Cassie’s crazy. It’s the favorite version of her … She’s even worse, she’s even worse.” Apart from Euphoria, Sweeney is also set to star in the David Michôd-directed Christy, a biographical sports film based on Christy Martin’s life. It will hit US theaters on November 7, 2025.
