Sydney Sweeney received the honor of a cover star at Variety’s 2025 Power of Women ceremony in Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 29. The Immaculate actress got candid with Variety’s Angelique Jackson on the red carpet. When asked about her feelings regarding wrapping up Season 3 of Euphoria, she said that she’s far from ready for it.
Sweeney further shared that she has just two days of shooting left on Thursday and Sunday. “It’s gonna be a really bittersweet moment,” the 28-year-old said. “I’m kind of terrified for how emotional it’s gonna be. It’s been such a journey. It’s been my entire twenties. They’ve been my family and friends for so long. I’ve been forever grateful for all of them,” she added.
In another conversation with Variety’s Marc Malkin this week, Sweeney discussed the bonds she has formed over the years. The Anyone But You actress shared that it brings her comfort and joy to work with the same people for eight years.
Meanwhile, there is not much information available about the upcoming season of Euphoria. However, reports suggest that it is all set for a Spring 2026 release. The new season promises the return of original cast members, while adding freshness with the addition of new faces, including Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, and Eli Roth.
Sydney Sweeney’s upcoming release, Christy, is a promising one. The actress will portray boxing champion Christy Martin in the November 7 release.
