Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White’s critically acclaimed biographical sports drama film is soon arriving for streaming on Prime Video. The Iron Claw is based on the true-life story of the professional wrestling Von Erich family. Along with Efron and White, the film’s cast includes talents like Lily James, Harris Dickinson, Holt McCallany, and many more.
The Iron Claw to stream on Prime Video very soon in November
Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White’s highly successful sports movie, The Iron Claw, is set to land on Prime Video on November 19, 2025. The A24-produced movie premiered on December 22, 2023.
Written and directed by Sean Durkin, the movie went on to become a hit at the box office, earning a total of over $45 million against a reported budget of approximately $16 million during its run.
Apart from being considered a financial hit, The Iron Claw also managed to impress the critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, it has a satisfactory score of 89 percent on the Tomatometer and 94 percent on the Popcornmeter.
When Efron was asked about what he felt about the response to the movie in January 2024, he told Deadline, “I’m just overwhelmingly grateful for this whole experience. It’s rekindled a fire in me, and really, it just makes me feel incredibly grateful.”
Moreover, Zac Efron has stated that working to get the physique in The Iron Claw was a grueling process. He commented on the physical transformation and stated that he found the process and training very interesting.
Efron added that he is fond of physical transformations for roles, and he found the “dedication fascinating and special.” While training for the role, he was essentially working for the championship belt match. Moreover, Efron conveyed that he “shed a skin somewhere in those seven months where Kevin was really at the wheel.”
