Travis Kelce Drops F-Bomb When Asked About Bobby Wagner Interception

While the Kansas City Chiefs may have secured a dominating win in their recent game against the Washington Commanders, Travis Kelce isn’t happy with a blunder he committed in the matchup that led to Bobby Wagner intercepting the ball. The Chiefs’ tight end recently voiced his annoyance over the mistake, even dropping an F-bomb to express his frustration.

During the October 29 episode of his New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce opened up about his mishap in the Chiefs’ game that led to the Commanders’ linebacker Bobby Wagner usurping possession from Andy Reid’s men.

While Kelce recorded a masterful performance on the field in the said fixture, he wasn’t happy with his error that cost his side momentum. “I’ve got to stop f—–g handing the God— other team the ball, man,” the three-time Super Bowl champion remarked. He then added, “F–k! That’s the thing, everyone’s like, ‘You made up for it. You had 99 more yards.’ And I’m like, ‘No, that doesn’t take away from the fact that I turned the ball over.”

The incident occurred in the second quarter of the game after Chiefs’ star quarterback Patrick Mahomes spotted an open Travis Kelce and supplied him with a pass in the middle of the field on third-and-4. What would have resulted in a routine first down instead ended with the Chiefs losing possession of the ball after it hit Kelce’s hands and sprang up in the air, only for Bobby Wagner to snatch it.

Notably, the 36-year-old NFL player had already committed a similar error in the Chiefs’ Week 2 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. In the game, Kelce fumbled a pass, causing Andrew Mukuba to steal the ball from him and initiate a play that ended in a touchdown for the Eagles.

Nevertheless, Travis Kelce’s mistake this time around did not amount to much, as Washington failed to capitalize on it, resulting in a one-sided 28-7 victory for the Chiefs. Kansas City will now look to add to its 5-3 record in its upcoming bout against the Buffalo Bills, which takes place on Sunday.
