YouTuber and livestreamer IShowSpeed continues to make headlines as he levels up his game on the YouTube scene. A month ago, he started a new YouTube series called Speed Goes Pro. After showcasing his talent in football and gymnastics in the first two episodes, he now takes on Joey Chestnut, facing him in an eating contest.
IShowSpeed and Joey Chestnut to face off in eating contest
In a teaser for the third episode of Speed Goes Pro, Speed seems to go head-to-head with competitive eater Joey Chestnut. The teaser, posted on X (formerly Twitter), shows Speed and Chestnut taking their positions behind a table with food on it. The narrator says in the background, “The time for talking is over. The time for eating, very, very quickly, is here.”
The caption of the post reads, “Sneak peek of Speed’s show ‘Speed Goes Pro’ episode where he takes on Joey Chestnut in an eating contest.” Fans already seem excited to catch the next episode. One fan replied, “Speed got the whole character, love it.” While the teaser only offers a very tiny glimpse of the episode, fans will be able to watch the entire episode on IShowSpeed’s YouTube channel. Episode 3 titled “SPEED GOES PRO, EPISODE 3: JOEY CHESTNUT (Competitive eating)” will premiere today, October 29, at 12 pm EST.
This YouTube series featuring IShowSpeed is presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods and produced by OBB Media. In Episode 1, Speed trained with NFL legend Tom Brady, followed by his participation in a set of football challenges. Episode 2 saw him go head-to-head with Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee in a gymnastics match. Speed also faced an embarrassing moment when he farted in front of Lee while attempting a move. Meanwhile, Joey Chestnut, who will appear in Episode 3, holds 55 world records across 55 disciplines. Considered to be the greatest competitive eater in history, Chestnut has won the Mustard Yellow Belt 17 times.
