A Canadian political source told PEOPLE, “This relationship is already fairly serious and definitely moving in that direction.” The source added, “They are very much a couple and have been seeing each other as often as possible.”
Perry has had a full schedule with her “Lifetimes World Tour” through December, but those close to her claimed that Trudeau has worked around it. On October 27, a source close to the singer told the tabloid that while her focus remains on performing, Trudeau “has made a real effort to meet her where she is — literally.”
