According to a TMZ report, Chris Evans and Alba Baptista welcomed their first baby—a daughter—on Friday in Massachusetts. While there have been no official announcements, TMZ reported that the couple has named their daughter Alma Grace Baptista Evans.
Since the beginning of their relationship, the pair has maintained a very private life. Rumors about the couple dating began in late 2022, when a source close to PEOPLE reported that they had been dating “for over a year and it’s serious.” When he was named “PEOPLE’s 2022 Sexiest Man Alive,” the Captain America actor expressed his wish to start a family, saying, “That’s absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family.”
In September 2023, the couple married in a private ceremony. The Snowpiercer actor confirmed the news during a 2023 New York Comic Con panel.
He shared that they had two ceremonies, one on the East Coast and the other in Portugal. While he said that “it’s a lot, planning a wedding,” he admitted that “they were wonderful and beautiful.”
Chris Evans has had an incredibly successful career and is popular for playing two major Marvel superheroes.
