Britney Spears Had ‘No Alcohol’ at Restaurant Before Driving Video

Britney Spears’ recent outing at a California restaurant has sparked conflicting reports. After the singer, 43, dined with her assistant at Red O in Westlake Village on October 22, eyewitnesses reported she behaved “erratically” and later drove “dangerously” toward her Thousand Oaks home.

However, the restaurant’s general manager, Oliver Wynn, told US Weekly that those claims were not “fair, realistic or true,” clarifying that Spears did not appear out of control during her visit.

Britney Spears was ‘not intoxicated’ in driving video, says restaurant manager

Reportedly, Britney Spears’ recent night out in Westlake, California, has drawn attention after a video surfaced of her driving away from a restaurant. However, the restaurant’s general manager has clarified that the pop icon was not intoxicated during her visit.

According to US Weekly, Spears and her assistant stopped by Red O restaurant on Wednesday night, October 22, before she was later filmed driving home. The restaurant’s general manager, Oliver Wynn, told the outlet that he was there and attended to Britney and her friend.

Britney was “super chill and really nice”. Wynn detailed how Spears only spent a short time at the restaurant, saying, “She was kind of hanging out, took to eat and left.”

Wynn confirmed that Spears dined in Red O’s new lounge and cocktail section, where she “ordered a quesadilla and no alcohol.” He explained that another patron “purchased a glass of wine at the bar and brought it to her table,” but stressed that “she was not intoxicated.”

During her short visit, Spears reportedly interacted with several fans. Wynn said, “I scanned the area frequently to check if Britney was okay with being photographed. She was engaged in conversations with her friend, as well as with her fans, for the entire duration.”

Regarding the paparazzi footage showing Spears’ car swerving, a separate source told Us Weekly that the singer was being followed by “a bunch of cars” with bright headlights, which left her “a little overwhelmed” and eager “to get home” quickly.
