Jesse Eisenberg made an appearance at Hudson Yards in New York City on October 25, where he performed a card trick with magician Noah Levine to promote his upcoming film Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.

The event drew a large crowd and concluded with a surprise announcement. The actor revealed that the cards distributed during the performance were tickets to an advance screening of his upcoming film. He said, “All the cards that I gave out are actually tickets. You are gonna be the very first to see Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.” The surprise announcement drew applause and loud cheers from the crowd.

Following the reveal, Eisenberg thanked the audience and assured those who did not receive tickets that additional promotional items, including posters and T-shirts, would be available.

The appearance seems to be part of the film’s official promotional campaign ahead of its theatrical release. Now You See Me: Now You Don’t serves as the third installment in the popular Now You See Me franchise. Eisenberg returns as J. Daniel Atlas, the illusionist and leader of the Four Horsemen. The upcoming film continues the story of the skilled magician team as they attempt to steal a rare diamond from a criminal organization.

The movie features returning cast members Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, and Morgan Freeman. Meanwhile, new cast members to the franchise include Rosamund Pike, Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt. The film is slated for release in theaters on November 14.
