Days of Our Lives’ Lauren Koslow Remembers Her Brother in Tribute

Days of Our Lives star Lauren Koslow, best known for her longtime role as Kate Roberts in the show, recently shared an emotional tribute to her brother following his passing. On Instagram, the actress shared several adorable pictures along with a warm-hearted note to let fans know about their bond and the joyful times they had together.

Lauren Koslow posts a poignant tribute to ‘beloved’ brother

Lauren Koslow shared on Instagram the love and memories that she had with her brother, Donald A. Koslow, who died earlier this year at the age of 69. Donald A. Koslow, who lived in Mashpee, Massachusetts, reportedly had a sudden death on February ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌2 (via Chapman Funerals & Cremations).

In her emotional Instagram post, Koslow shared several photos of them together through the years from childhood to adulthood. She wrote, “I will miss you forever and a day , my beloved brother. The world is a lesser place without you. No one could make me laugh like you – no one understood like you . Till we meet again . ❤️??❤️‍?”

The Days of Our Lives star also included a heartfelt poem by the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Mary Oliver, called “Don’t Hesitate.” The poem is an invitation to people to accept joy even in their grieving.

The comments were soon packed with condolences and love from the fans, fellow actors and friends. Several of them related their personal experiences of the death of a sibling and thus, they encouraged and supported Koslow by their ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌words.

Donald​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Koslow was born on January 20, 1956, in Quincy, MA. He was a husband, father, and grandfather. After graduating from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy (Class of 1979), he was a seaman for 17 years.

Later, he worked in manufacturing at Taptone/Benthos for more than 20 years. A faithful Christian and lifelong learner, he also was interested in books, music, and antiques. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
