Hollywood’s popular showman, Hugh Jackman, has been facing failure on Broadway, and his ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness reportedly has “no sympathy” for him. According to insiders, the Australian actress is taking “fiendish delight” in hearing that Jackman’s one-man show is struggling to sell tickets in New York City.

Jackman’s new stage production, Hugh Jackman Live: From New York, With Love, has been facing unexpectedly low ticket sales despite his star power. The show, held at the iconic Radio City Music Hall, features musical numbers from The Greatest Showman, The Boy From Oz, Les Misérables, and The Music Man, basically all major highlights from the actor’s career.
However, sources told RadarOnline that attendance hasn’t lived up to expectations. “It seems Hugh’s not as invincible as he thought he was,” said an insider, adding, “People have told [Deborra-Lee] he’s struggling and down in the dumps over the lack of ticket sales.”
Sources further stated Deborra-Lee Furness isn’t shedding any tears about that. “Deb has moved on, but she’s getting a fiendish delight hearing he can’t fill seats at his one-man show,” claimed an insider. Another source added, “Deb clearly feels he stabbed her in the back, and she means to make him pay dearly. She loved him, and he was her everything, and now he’s a louse who broke her heart and betrayed her.”
Broadway insiders have partly attributed the slump to a drop in international tourism to New York City, but others claim the actor’s personal life may be playing a role in audience disinterest. “Others say audiences are avoiding Hugh because he’s a love rat — he’s become a turnoff to a lot of people who used to love him for his family values and his devotion to his former wife,” the source added.
The former couple were married in 1996 and separated in September 2023. Their split came amid rumors of Jackman’s alleged affair with his Music Man co-star Sutton Foster. “And Deb is feeling no sympathy for him,” the insider concluded.
