Since announcing her split from “Wolverine” star Hugh Jackman, Furness has largely maintained a low profile in Australia, focusing on her children and personal projects. But sources close to her say that’s about to change.
“She’s reclaiming her voice,” a friend revealed to #ShutterScoop. “She spent years being known as Hugh’s wife. Now she wants to be known for her truth.” The memoir is said to explore the complexities of “love, identity, and starting over,” said another insider.

The couple met in 1995 on the set of the Australian series “Correlli” and married on April 11, 1996. After nearly three decades together, Jackman and Furness announced their separation in September 2023. Deb officially filed for divorce in May, ending her 27-year marriage. Hugh publicly confirmed her relationship with two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster after reports emerged that the pair had fallen for each other while costarring in “The Music Man” on Broadway in 2022.
