LeBron James on prospects of marrying a ‘stay-at-home woman’
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James recently shared his views on whether he would marry a ‘stay-at-home woman’ if he were single in today’s time.
LeBron, who is married to Savannah, appeared on her podcast when he revealed that he wouldn’t do so. The basketball star asserted, “I think, personally, me today, if I was not in a relationship today, I could not have a stay-at-home woman. For me, who I am at 40 and what I got going on, coming home and just seeing somebody just sitting on the couch every day, just sitting there just chilling, that wouldn’t float for me.”
He further added, “I think it’s just who you are and where you are at that point in your life, what kind of moves [you make], and I think everybody is different. So, it’s been stages for me.” Shedding some light upon the early years of his relationship with Savannah, LeBron added, “Early on, I needed somebody that could raise the family. I didn’t trust anybody to be able to come in the house, you know, besides my mom.”
While LeBron does not seem to be a fan of a ‘stay-at-home woman’, on the other hand, his wife has been actively pursuing her professional goals while helping him raise their kids. Savannah, who shares Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri with LeBron, is a podcast host and has her own skincare brand, Reframe.
